French lexicon of action nouns morphologically related to verbs.
DescriptionThis lexicon contains verb:noun pairs such that:
Verbaction is created semi-automatically. We first used the method detailed in (Hathout, Namer & Dal 2002) to form candidate verb:noun couples from the verbs and the nouns of the TLFnome and TLFindex lexica. We complemented these couples by harvasting -ade, -age, -ance, -ence, -ment, -tion and -ure deverbal nouns from the Web with the Webbaffix tool box (Tanguy & Hathout, 2002). Then, we manually checked all the couples.
The morphosyntactic tags used in the resource are in the Multext/GRACE format.
